what is the primary symptoms of drought stress in plants?

Dear Gholamali,

In cacti it is marked reduction in the overall diameter of the plant, followed by shriveling, and then death from the top of the plant downwards. They will sometimes change color during this process as well, turning progressively more yellow as the stress continues.
