dear greg.
i live in arizona....and have several very large aloe plants growing out by the pool....
i'd like to know...how..and the best time for this area (phoenix) to transplant some of it to other parts of the pool area...and perhaps a few other places in the yard...they are quite big....

Dear Diane,

Please excuse the delay in getting back to you, there was some type of server error keeping me from getting to your question.

Fall is the best time to transplant most succulents for a couple of reasons. Aloe's in particular are winter growers and there is less stress because of the decreased heat and intense sunlight.

Don't worry about damaging the leaves as new ones will grow. Just becareful of black widows, as they seem to like to hide out in  Aloe's (in my experience anyway). Don't overwater and they should transplant just fine.
