Question
Hi Greg, can you tell me how to transplant my century plants.
Thanks

Answer
Dear Miriam,

That depends on the type of Agave's you have. If they are much bigger than about 2 - 3 feet across, I would have someone do it for you. If they are smaller than that, then just get as much root as possible. Make sure to mark the south side of the plant somehow. Let it sit out of the ground for a few days before replanting and make sure that the south side of the plant is facing south when you replant it. This time of year, I wouldn't worry about watering it unless it goes more than a month without any rain.

Sincerely,

Greg
