Question
I had an earlier question about the service engine soon light and the service transmission display. I gave you the codes and you said clear the codes and see what comes back. I cleared everything I could, so now we have code PC0717 History-code IP2511 current and code RS0038 current. Now can you tell me why those lights are on? By the way, when I first started the car after clearing the
codes both lights were out but came on within a minute Thanks again for any help.

Answer
PC0717 = no signal from turbine speed circuit. (which is a sensor inside of the transmission).

IP2511 = Steering wheel controls  button stuck.

RS0038 = Electronic level control exhaust valve short to ground or open circuit.

I can provide you with PICTURES which are not allowed on this persons website and detailed directives if you e-mail me at: onlineautohelp@msn.com
