QUESTION: 1999 Cadillac STS

Answer
Unfortunately there are no directives by the manufacturer for disabiling the system.

What you need to do is call your automobile insurer and ASK if it is OK do disconnect the air bag system in your vehicle. I am pretty sure that they will tell you that this will VOID your insurance policy and you will have NO COVERAGE if you get into an accident.

If they do say you can de-activate it, GET IT IN WRITING and let me know.
