Expert: autohelp - 10/21/2008

Question
I have a 91 Cadiallac Seville where the wipers only go up part way and then return to the stopped position. It happened after trying to move snow from the windshiueld [I know. I know].

I changed out the wiper motor that included the park switch. I changed out the wiper control module. I changed out the switch. The linkage appears to be in working order and undamaged.

The wipers move about 2 inches and then come back to rest. They are not slipping. Any ideas?

This is going to require several pictures and diagnostic test procedures to fix.

If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need a DIGITAL MULTIMETER, Simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
