Expert: autohelp - 10/8/2008

my vehicle lately has shut off/stalled after immediatly being put into gear, or only while driving it at speeds under 35 mph, it doesnt happen all the time but it seems to happen when my fuel gets low around a 1/4 of a tank. im at a loss because it has been checked out, no service lights are on or have come on, the battery is newer & has power but when the stall out occurs there is no power to the lights ignition anything in the vehicle or motor untill he vehicle sits for about 5 minutes or if i get out & pop the hood & then close it?

This sounds like a GROUND WIRE problem of which there are several in different locations.

If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
