Question
Swich is faulty and have ordered replacement. How do I get the jacket off the
column to get to the switch to remove and replace.  I have the steering wheel off
and tilt lever unscrewed. Does the turn signal lever unscrew as well?

Answer
The dimmer switch is located way down on the side of the steering column under the dash. The only thing that is in the steering column is the pivot assembly and a long metal rod that connects to the switch on the column as said above.
