Question
QUESTION: Computer code P0741 and P1527 No symptons, Only "SERVICE ENGINE SOON" annunicator. After clearing the code, the annunciator came back on after 1 year and 6,000 miles. Could it possibly be a computer sensor error? Please advise. Thank you.
P0741 is a fault of the overdrive circuit in the transmission. Most likely a faulty TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH SOLENOID.
P1527 is a fault in the TRANSAXLE (transmission) Range switch and or in the circuit board pressure switches.
If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need a DIGITAL MULTIMETER, Simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
