Cadillac Repair/air damper not opening

Question
QUESTION: I have a 91 fleetwood. The damper does not open to direct the air flow. Also the temp will not change.I took out the glove box to manualy close  the damper so cold air would stop blowing. I cant find a vac line at all. could it be the electric switch?

ANSWER: As you move the heat and A/C controls from heat to A/C does the metal rod that you disconnected from thr plastic clip which is on top of the PROGRAMMER move back and forth ?.

QUESTION: No it does not move at all.I have 2 buttons on the control switch to adjust for it to be warmer or colder. I wish I had a sliding lever.

Answer
You have a faulty programmer motor.

If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
