QUESTION: replace fuel pump does not run could it be the cam sensor

ANSWER: IF you had a cam sensor fault you would have a check engine light on the dash.

Do you know how to retrieve your CODES from the computers. If you DO, Tell me what they are and which ones are History and Current.

Are you getting spark to the spark plugs ?.

Are you getting fuel to the engine ?.

Will the engine try and run with a little starting fluid ?.

QUESTION: check engine light is not on its not getting fuel

Perform this test procedure using a helper.

1. remove the gas cap and have your helper listen at the gas cap opening.

2. You turn your ignition switch to the ON position where the dash lights light up, But do NOT start the engine.

3. Your helper should be able to hear the electric fuel pump make a buzzing sound for only 2 seconds just as you turn the key to the ON position.

4. If your helper does NOT hear the fuel pump run for the 2 seconds, and If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need a DIGITAL MULTIMETER, Simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the fuel pump system components  that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
