QUESTION: Hi . I pulled a 95 sls in the shop the abs and traction control lights are on . 2 minutes after hooking up my snapon scanner with the k9 key  the theft system prob . message came on . the local caddy mech came and checked it out he had me put a resister in the orange cased wire (two wires inside ) with the same resistance as the key had . still same prob . has spark but no fuel . battery has been replaced  and alt. is good . even went and done the owners manuals to do thing . any help would be appreciated

ANSWER: When you turn the ignition switch to the ON position ONLY, Without starting the engine, Can you hear the fuel pump in the gas tank run for 2 seconds and then stop ?.

If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need a DIGITAL MULTIMETER, Simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
