my 1990 el dorado idles high,when I turn it on in the morning and it is cold I let it warm up and the idle still does not come down.I also drive the car for some time at normal operating tempeture and it still does not come down.please answer thank you.

Your problem sounds like a faulty IDLE SPEED CONTROL MOTOR.

If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need a DIGITAL MULTIMETER, Simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
