Question
I am having the dreaded climate control / fuel center problem. The climate control and fuel center displays will display ---- and the climate control will switch to defrost. The tachometer and the fuel gauge will also read low when this is happening. Turning on the headlights makes things worse. When the turn signal is on the tach will jump up and down with the turn signals and the dash ligts will dim in unison. The weird twist is that everything seems Ok whenever BOTH doors are open. Closing just one of the doors will make it spaz out again. I noticed that others have had this problem. I hope I have been able to provide a little more information.

Answer
IS or HAS the CHECK ENGINE light ever illuminated while driving the vehicle and or has any other lights illuminated or any messages from the message display center ?.

What work or diagnostics of ANYKIND WHAT-SO-EVER have been performed on the vehicle trying to fix this problem ?.

Your problem sounds like either a GROUND problem , an instrument panel problem or a computer problem.

If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need a DIGITAL MULTIMETER, Simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture. I do not have a website so you will have to e-mail: onlineautohelp@msn.com in order to obtain the information.
