Question
1997 sts starts fine when cold but cranks extensively when hot. I have replaced the fuel pump (went bad). New plugs ,wires, pcv valve,gas filter and air filter.
The first thing you have to do is identify if it is FUEL or IGNITION to the spark plugs that you do not have .
Try spraying a small amount of starting fluid in the air cleaner and see fi it TRIES to start. Also check for spark to one of the spark plugs while cranking the engine and holding the spark plug wire from the spark plug to a metal surface.
