Question
MY 2000 cadi dhs will not start when the dew is on the car.when the day heats up the car will run and start fine.It has 226,000 miles. The engine light is on but has been on before this problem started.

Answer
Drive the car down to any AUTOZONE auto parts store and ask them to retrieve the CODES from the computers with their scanner.

Write down the:

CODE #:

Is the acode a HISTORY or CURRENT code ?:


Get this for ALL the codes that appear.



Next ask the guy to ERASE ALL THE CODES FROM THE COMPUTERS.



Drive the car until the CHECJK engine light comes back ON and then take it back to autozone and get the same informatio as I asked above as to:

CODE #:

Is the acode a HISTORY or CURRENT code ?:


Get this for ALL the codes that appear.
