Question
when i try to start my car it spins but wont start. after i waited for a while it started two different times. is that a fuel pump problem and if it is where is my fuel pump located

Answer
Could be a fuel pump pressure or volume problem OR it could be an intermittent fault in the spark to the spark plugs.

The electric fuel pump is in the gas tank.

What you want to try is, The next time that it won't start right away, Spray some starting fluid in the air cleaner and see if the engine TRIES to start. If it does, Your fault is more likely to be the fuel pump of which you should put a FUEL PUMP test gage on the engines fuel rail pressure fitting and physically SEE what the pressure is.

If you determine that it IS the fuel pump, I can e-mail you pictures and directives on how to replace the fuel pump and the micro screen filter in the gas tank by e-mailing: onlineautohelp@msn.com
