I own an 84 cadillac coupe deville and im not getting any fuel to the carborator. CAN ANYBODY HELP ME!!

IS or HAS the CHECK ENGINE light ever illuminated while driving the vehicle and or has any other lights illuminated or any messages from the message display center ?.

What work or diagnostics of ANYKIND WHAT-SO-EVER have been performed on the vehicle trying to fix this problem ?.


Perform this test:

1. Get yourself a helper.

2. Remove the gas cap.

3. Have your helper listen at the gas cap opening.

4. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position ONLY. Do not attempt to start the engine.

5. Your helper should hear the electric fuel pump in the gas tank buzzing (running) for only 2 seconds.

6. Does it buzz for only 2 seconds ?.
