Question
QUESTION: Hello, I have a 94' Cadillac Deville 4.9L and I need help with the procedure for replacing the front lower ball joints. Do you have to remove the lower control arms completely? I have cut the rivets off of the bottom of the control arm but can't get them to push thru the ball joint and top of the control arm. Thanks for your help.

ANSWER: If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need pictures locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture. I do not have a website so you will have to e-mail: onlineautohelp@msn.com in order to obtain the information.

QUESTION: THANKS FOR THE NO HELP! I figured it out myself. Wasn't really that hard at all. Yes I am mechanically inclined, I received my degree from University of Northwestern Ohio in Automotive and Business back in 77'. Just thought a simple "YES" or "NO" to the question would have worked. I won't waste your's or my time in the future with this website.

Answer
90% of the people I deal with who are looking for help are NOT very mechanically inclined.

I am sorry that I do not have the psychic ability to have known that you do have some minor experience with automotive repair.

If you would have made me aware of your abilities, I would have given you a more appropriate answer.
