Question
The low coolant (freon) light was come on my cadillac and the computer has turned off the compressor. I cannot recharge the freon with out the compressor kicking on and the computer won't allow it to turn on.
How do I reset this so the compressor with cycle and thus recharge the freon?

IS or HAS the CHECK ENGINE light ever illuminated while driving the vehicle and or has any other lights illuminated or any messages from the message display center ?.

What work or diagnostics of ANYKIND WHAT-SO-EVER have been performed on the vehicle trying to fix this problem ?.

The easiest way is to jumper the A/C relay to engage the compressor.

If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need pictures of the relay and which circuits to jumper to engage the compressor of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
