How do you reset/turn off the "service engine soon light" on a 1993 Cadillac Deville?

Answer
The service engine soon light is ON for a reason as there was an intermittent fault in the vehicles electronics.

you can turn it OFF by the following method, However, It may come back ON and if it does I need to know what the code IS.

1. Turn the ignition key to the ON position. Do not start the engine.

2. On your climate control panel simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons for 3 seconds and then release the buttons.

3. On the fuel display screen you will see a combination of LETTERS and NUMBERS appear and then the screen will stop at .7.0

4. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and HI buttons until you see E.0.0 and release the buttons and the screen will go back to .7.0

5. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and LO buttons until you see F.0.0 and release the buttons and the screen will go back to .7.0

6. Turn OFF the ignition key for 15 seconds and restart the car and see if the light returns.
