QUESTION: my 94' caddy california edition won't start...turns over , it's getting gas but no spark...got dealership to change sensors..and still won't spark getting frustrated any idea, keep in mind sensors were changed

ANSWER: WHAT sensors were replaced ?.

IS or HAS the CHECK ENGINE light ever illuminated on the dash ?.

QUESTION: yes it has appeared and it was scanned  and also the p.c.m was replaced still no spark c.d.i was changed.no spark.

ANSWER: What CODES did you get from the computer.

Do you know how to retrieve the codes via the climate control panel ?.

QUESTION: it's where all the spark plug wires plug into...also the codes were irrelevant that's why the dealership cleared them and replaced the p.c.m..also yes i do know how to retrieve codes and when everything was done the p.c.m had a ? on there

If the codes were able to be cleared from the old pcm, There was no reason to replace the pcm.

It is NORMAL to see PCM? when there are no codes in the computer.

If you have the 4.9L engine the item that the spark plug wires go into has always been the DISTRIBUTOR.

Yoou may have a fault ignition coil or coils, A faulty ICM (ignition control module.


If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need a DIGITAL MULTIMETER, Simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
