Question
While driving you can hear a solenoid clicking under the dash - moving the shift liver a little will stop the clicking for a while -- now remote doesn't work - I've check the battery it is ok. - manually the locks open and close -- when opening the driver door with the key, when the door opens just a little you can hear the locks open sometimes - like a wire would be broken and by opening the door it now make electrical contact.
Any ideas? - Edd

Answer
The door lock switch located under the dash on the steering column may have faulty contacts and needs to be replaced.

If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need a DIGITAL MULTIMETER, Simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture. I do not have a website so you will have to e-mail: onlineautohelp@msn.com in order to obtain the information.
