Question I have a 1992 Seville and the blower motor stopped working. I checked all the fuses in the trunk, under the hood, including the maxi fuses, and all seems ok. I can put 12v to the motor and it runs, what am I missing?
Answer In most cases the fault lies with the POWER MODULE which is located just above the blower motor and about 4 inches to the left when standing in front of the car. You will see 1 or 2 electrical harnesses plugging into the TOP of the module which is held into the big plastic housing by 3 7mm screws. Remove the power module and you will see a large aluminum finned cooling component attached to the bottom of the power module. This is how to be sure you have the correct component.
