Question My AC fan stopped working suddenly. This was preceded by two days of intermittent operation (started, then stopped, then started again) followed by a "pop" in the dash and a small amount of smoke on both sides of the firewall. All control panel indications are good. Simply no fan operation. Fan motor or electronic control? I want to do the work myself but, it looks like the car engine is in the way of removing the fan from the housing.
