Question Apparently misery has company when I saw the question concerning the Cadillac STS with complete shut down with no warning. This has occurred during driving and stopped situations. The most concerning is driving 60+ miles and the car turns off like light switch with no power to anything. You have to turn key until the dash lights register or it won't start. Any further pinpoint of what this might be and is this something that could be diagnosed @ automotive electrical specialist
Answer If what you are saying is that while driving the vehicle down the road ALL of the displays go totally blank and the engine shuts OFF this would in most cases be a fault in the NEUTRAL STARTER SAFETY SWITCH.
