Question my Cadillac won't start .and it's telling me on the computer that the starter is dismantled because of the security alarm, I tried cleaning the key and restart the car but it keeps telling me the same thing. Is there a button I can set or something ? I even tried unhooking the battery and that didn't work either
Answer The fault can be:
Ignition lock cylinder that has a wire connected to the cylinder and plugs into a plug under the dash. The wire could be broken or shorted.
PASS-KEY module.
Starter relay.
