Question I have a 99 Deville Delegance north star engine. When I turn key to start it says starting disabled try again in 3 minutes ,does it with both set of keys, I checked fuses under hood and found none burned. It does this most of time but not everytime,it will start in 3 minutes
Answer This is a problem with the theft system called the PASS-KEY system. Your fault is either:
The ignition key.
The steering wheel cylinder lock.
the wiring.
The PASS-KEY module.
The starter relay.
The computer.
You will need simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
