Question i have a 1999 cadillac deville i was drving and the car just shut off i tried to start it but nothing happen its not out of fuel its getting fire from the plugs i notice that the fuel line in the engine does not have any or little fuel presure but i can hear the pump running
Answer Just because you can hear the pump running does NOT mean that it is pumping fuel. It is also possible that the micro-screen filter on the bottom of the pump is plugged up. Have a local garage test the fuel pressure. The most common fault is the pump itself.
