Question Hi, my service engine soon light is on. i did the test and it showed the following error codes: E55 and E85. I cleared all the history and these codes are still there. No other ones. I looked it up and it has smth to do with throttle... I don't know much about cars. Is this smth I can fix myself pretty easy or do I have to take it in somewhere. And if I do, how expensive do you think this repair will be? Thank you very much for you help!
Answer E55 = Throttle position sensor misadjusted.
E85 = Throttle body needs to be serviced.
If you are fairly mechanically inclined, You can make these repairs with help.
You will need simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture. I do not have a website so you will have to e-mail: onlineautohelp@msn.com in order to obtain the information.
