Question
I just purchased a 99 eldorado. after returning from inspection the back end was fully extended (jacked up). dealer I bought it from manually bled the air out of the rear shocks on Friday. By monday the car was jacked up again. dealer manually bled the air out again Tuesday. Wednesday it is starting to rise again. What regulates the automatic adjustment of the air pressure to these shocks? can it be disengaged after the desired ride height is achieved? Car looks to be completely stock. Any insight or illustrations would be GREAT!  thanks!   David

Answer
You have a fault in the HEIGHT SENSOR.

If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture. I do not have a website so you will have to e-mail: onlineautohelp@msn.com in order to obtain the information.
