Question
hi i just got this 84 Seville from my uncle and it didn't run i found that the fuel hose in the tank that connects the pump to the ? holding aperatus had a hole in it so i replaced. it started but ran poorly (backfired) i then noticed that two of the posts on the distributor cap were broke off and the wires were just sitting there so i replaced the cap and when doing i noticed that the firing order that is on the intake didn't match the order in which was applied and stupidly didn't record how it was before changing but i changed it to what was on the intake and now wont start so i brought #1 to tdc and checked rotor and used that for the start of firing order still no start now i am stumped do you have any advice?

Answer
If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need  Simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture. I do not have a website so you will have to e-mail: onlineautohelp@msn.com in order to obtain the information.
