Expert: autohelp - 1/7/2009

Question
When I attempt to start the engine nothing happens other than the normal dashboard light going out.  I do hear one muted click from the passenger side of the dashboard.  The battery is fully charged and the headlights do not dim when the key is turned to the start position.  All fuses checked okay.  I have moved the steering column up and down and have also moved the gear shift from park to drive and back to park.  Other than the starter being bad, could there be another problem?

How difficult is it to replace the starter for a not really mechanically inclined person such as myself?

It is NOT that difficult.
