Cadillac Repair/pass key theft deterrent system

1990 Allante Caddy, 4.4Liter Wont even turn over, dash readout says "starting disable due to theft deterrent system" "wait 3 minutes. I have waited through many 3 minute cycles, no start. Bought new pass key at dealer, still nothing. Is this the BCM the ECM or the theft det. modual? Help PLEASE. Joe
Could be the ignition switch on the steering column , faulty wiring from the ignition key lock on the column to the PASS-KEY module and or a faulty module. You will need numerous pictures and directives to fix this problem. E-mail: onlineautohelp@msn.com
