Question
i have a 1988 cadillac elderado and my security lite flashes and stays on at all times flashing even when its not on .my battier will drain over nite .i have to take the battier cable off so it dont drain my battier any advice what could be causing the lite to flash .

Answer
IS or HAS the CHECK ENGINE light ever illuminated while driving the vehicle and or has any other lights illuminated or any messages from the message display center ?.

What work or diagnostics of ANYKIND WHAT-SO-EVER have been performed on the vehicle trying to fix this problem ?.
