Question
I have a 1998 DeVille that is overheating after I have replaced the thermostat, radiator, and passenger side fan motor. The fans do not engage into high speed. I am getting a P0115, and P0722 code from my scanner. Which temp. coolant circuit is bad with a P0115 code, and is this what is causing the fans to not engage into high speed?

Answer
P0115 = Engine coolant temp to high. You need to test the COOLANT TEMP SENSOR (CTS) on the engine.

P0722 = no such code.

You need to test the CTS via the CLIMATE CONTROL PANEL diagnostics program built into the vehicles system.
