QUESTION: The "service engine soon" light is on.  I read the codes and came up with E046 and E090, also ED02 and Ed01.  Can you help?

ANSWER: After EACH code displays either the word HISTORY or CURRENT appears.

Whisc codes are CURRENT and which are HISTORY ?.

E046 = Right to left fuel volume difference.

E090 = Overdrive brake switch problem.

ED01 = throttle position setting.

ED02 = Manifold Absolute Pressure setting.

QUESTION: Thank you for your speedy response to my questions about the codes on my 1992 Caddy Eldorado.  My next question would be, what would you do to repair the right to left fuel volumn difference?  Thank you.

You did NOT answer my request as to which CODES are either Current or History.

The fuel balance can be a result of a leaking or faulty fuel injector which can be tested using your CLIMATE CONTROL PANEL.
