Question
on start  up  a  4.5  eldorado immeadiately chokes down & billows
very heavy black smoke  un till it dies . if  it sits  for 2-3  hrs  it will start  easily.  is this  due  to a  sensor ??  the cold  air  intake  one ??

ais or HAS the CHECK ENGINE light ever illuminated while driving the vehicle prior to thios problem ?.
