Expert: autohelp - 11/16/2009

Hello, my 1999 seville STS instrument panel just recently started acting funny. While driving, or just idling, the fuel gauge may drop to empy, or the temp. may fly up to overheating, than back to normal, or all the quages will just quit, including the lights. Generaly, re-starting the engine will temporarily fix the problem, but then...it will start doing the same thing. I don't know if this is relevant, but just before this happened, I replaced the old battery with a new one.

Any help, or ideas would be great.

If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need a DIGITAL VOLT/OHM METER, Simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
