Question
I have a '90 cadillac deville that i just installed a new ignition in. The key won't even turn over. I've tried moving the wheel side to side and making sure the care is in park all the way. If I bypass the VATS will the key turn? I don't know if the VATS prevents the key from turning or just the vehicle from starting.
If I bypass the VATS will the key turn? NO.
If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need a DIGITAL VOLT/OHM METER, Simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
