Cadillac Repair - transmission overhaul

Question
My 1995 Cadillac transmission had a complete overhaul, now it will die when coming to a stop. This is after it is warmed up. Also it will die when is setting in park. The shop that did the work thinks it is the motor , what do you thank is the cause? Thanks Ted

If you DID NOT have this problem prior to the transmission failure, I am NOT buying their story that you have an engine problem. They most likely used the old original TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH SOLENOID (TCC SOLENOID) when they shoukld have installed a NEW one. As this sounds like a probable TCC solenoid problem which is NOT engine related.

Look on your bill and see if they installed a new TCC solenoid.
