QUESTION: i have a 1994 cadillac fleetwood brougham 5.7 liter, gas didn't reach the engine so i replaced the fuel pump and filter,checked all the fuses(all good) and the fuel pump relay is also good but gas still does not get to the engine what could be the problem? help greately appreciated it          THANKS

ANSWER: 1. Remove the gas cap.

2. Have someone listen at the gas cap opening.

3. Turn the ignition key to the ON position ONLY whereas all the dash lights illuminate and the person at the gas cap opening should hear the fuel pump run for ONLY 2 seconds and then it should stop.
