I have a Cadillac DeVille sometimes when I try to start it it wont start the dash tells me to wait three minutes after the three minutes it starts fine what would this be? I thought maybe the battery but Im not sure.

You have a problem with the PASS-KEY anti-theft system which prevents the car from stsrting if the resistance in the ignition key does not match the resistance in the PASS-KEY module which in turn will not engage the starter relay.
