I has a 1996 cadillac deville i just bought bout a weak ago had other problems but got it fix now service engine light keeps coming on what dothat mean?

Do you know how to retrieve the CODES from the computers when the SERVICE ENGINE SOON light illuminates ?.

If NOT, Follow this procedure.

1. Turn ignition switch to the ON position so the dash light light up, But do NOT start the engine.

2. On your climate control panel, Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons inward for 3 seconds and then release them.

3. On the display you will see NUMBERS and LETTERS WITH NUMBERS appear. Write down EXACTLY what you see as if you were video taping the display.

4. The display will stop at .70.

5. Turn OFF the ignition key.
