Question
I have an 92 Fleetwood 4.7L V-6 and I have been having problems with the battery dying if it is kept hooked up over night. Nothing is left on in the car and  i check that twice before i get out. I have replaced the battery, alternator, battery terminals, and the belt tensioner. I was wondering if you have any suggestions of where to start to look for the problem?

Answer
The msot common faults are:

a shorted cigarette lighter in the dash.

An intermittent operation of the ILLUMINATED ENTRY TIMER, Whereas the timer contacts and turns the interior lights ON and OFF during the night.

A faulty ON and OFF electric HEIGHT SENSOR
