Question
my 96 cadi deville dyes out on idle-when warmed up.
my service engine light has been on aprox. 1yr w/emissions,
(codes were po174, p1406)
i fixed the EGR valve it was ceased
i have replaced my IAC valve
i replaced the map sensor
i cleaned the maf sensor
i replaced the fuel filter/pump
cleaned the throttle body (w/in the intake manifold was filthy)
after i fixed the egr valve the service light does not come on anymore, but car still dyes out.
i put fuel cleaner in the gas but still havent used all of gas in tank.
170,000 miles are on car.

Are there any codes still being displayed if you check for them ?.

If there IS, What are they and which ones are CURRENT and which ones are HISTORY.

If NO codes appear, We can try and idle relearn test procedure.

Have you made ANY adjustments to the idle speed or ANYTHING else ?.
