Expert: autohelp - 4/26/2009

my service ride control has been on for quite sometime and i was told i needed to replace the motor that controls this. the car seems to drive fine but it does have a rattling when i first start it and drive a little ways then it quits.  i hear it again when i slow down to park. i just don't know what it is (the rattle) or if i need the motor replaced of the service ride control light.  i can't get a consistent answer to my problem and am frustrated and don't know who or what to trust.  i can't afford to replace a lot of things i may not need.  i love driving my car but just don't know what i should do about these problems. and just one more thing my mileage range display had been going nuts for a few months and then went back to normal, it would display my miles per gallon range from 17 to 75.  i can't afford a new car just now just need someone to trust to tell me what to do or fix it.  thanks you very much.   cassie

The first thing you need to do is e-mail: onlineautohelp@msn.com who will talk to you via telephone and tell you how to retrieve the CODES that are stored in the computers which is why the service ride control is coming on the display.
