Question
My Seville dose not want to release the third gear after you take off on the road. The traction system lights stays on on the dashboard. Can you tell me is this a problem with the traction system or is this a transmission problem.  how can i check the traction system sensorrs to see if this is was causing the problem.  Car runs up to 60 miles like when gears is holding up. please help me on this Im about to put the car on fire. Thank you Ill be waiting for a good answer.

You have a fault in the TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM.

To obtain the fault codes perform this sequence.

1. Turn ignition key to ON. Do NOT start the engine.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER (^) buttons on your climate control panel for 3 seconds and release them.

3. Look at your fuel data display and you will see codes appearing and after EACH CODE displays the word HISTORY or CURRENT will display.

4. The display will stop at PCM?

5. Tell me everything you see in step 3 above.
