MY 1996 SLS NEEDS TO BE ALIGNED WE PT ANOTHER STRUT ON THE FRONT BUT HAD TO STRAIGHT WIRE THE ELECTRIC CONNECTOR BECAUSE IT WAS CUT/ I THEN TOOK IT TO BE ALIGNED, HE SHOP I TOOK IT TOOK PUMP UP THE BACK END TO SIT UP BUT THEN STATED SYSTEM COULD NOT GET A READ IN ORDER TO ALIGNED THE ENTIRE CAR, I NEED TO KNOW THE BEST WAY TO GO ABOUT GETTING THIS PORBLEM FIXED WITHOUT HAVING TO GET ALL NEW STRUTS WHICH APPARENYTLY FOR THIS MODEL COST ABOUT $1300 A PIECE//

Answer
Is the CHECK ENGINE light on the dash illuminated with the engine running ?. If it IS, You need to retrieve the FAULT CODES via the computer and fix the FAULT CODES in order to get the vehicle to it's proper ride height.

Are there any mESSAGES being displayed in the MESSAGE CENTER ?. If there ARE, What does it say ?.
