Cadillac Repair/Fusablel link wires

Question
I have a 1988 cadillac coupe deville that went dead after i drove on block from the house..I dash will not light up, i have had the battery, alternator check and both are good. Changed the positive cable on the battery and believe that the only answer left is the fusable link wires but not sure where they are, can you help?

Answer
The fusible links are attached to the starter where the battery cable attaches.
